So like.....I got the blocks, they looked like the one on the left, after id finished milling em, they looked like the one on the right.

Drilled and reamed to 14mm

So i ripped the diff out today and got the 4.5:1 ratio one roughly in position.

Went to fit the lowering blocks and alas, they didnt fit. Some noob at work has fitted 5/8" (15.8mm) centerbolts.

Drilled the base of the blocks to suit, after some other assorted f@$king around, all was in!

Took it for a drive and still, all was good :) adjusted the hand brake and off i went.

picks up a hell of a lot better and not much of a notable increase in revs, which is good.

PICS!!!

It's the wheels. You need a mag wheel polishing kit, chrome and black paint, and lower profile tyres.

So now, I have a working boot latch opener. Original rod was too long and the lock wouldnt open it. Made one 10mm shorter, Perfect!

Also have carpet in the boot and up the back of the rear seat. Carpet was a little short width wise so it looks a bit shit rearward of the arches, but ALOT better than it did.

Got it all in, then realised h hadnt cut the hole for the seat latch handle. Looks really good without it, don't wanna cut it up now. But i'll make a polished alloy trim to go around it.

Getting more stuff ready for the GOR run saturday morn.

Cheers Justin! I think so too. Keeps getting better, the carpet in the back makes it look a shit load better. Gonna get some vinyl tomorrow and do the rest of the interior before GOR.
