In Adelaide today.... actually yesterday now (Sunday), we had the Bay to Birdwood Classic. This is basically a massive car cruise for classic cars with entries limited to 1750 (which always fill) and then hundreds of other cars that join in but didn't get around to entering or were too late to enter and missed out (like me). It starts at West Beach and goes all the way to the Birdwood Motor Museum. Along the way people line the roads to watch the cars go past. Today sadly it rained so there were less willing watchers than there usually would be, but still there were a lot of people out for it.

 

Anyhow by chance a few of the local KE1x owners came together and this was the result:

I haven't ever seen another KE1x on the road. I so want to get mine over for this next year!!

In my sig pic from front to back is........ Matt's (he had his partner with him along with their dog and Frank rode with them), then second one back I can't remember his name, third one is mine, 4th I can't remember his name and beige one is Stefan's (I think that's his name anyway). Frank didn't have one there at all. Actually he doesn't have one at the moment (except the Vert), but I'm sure more will magically come to him.

Hehe..... funny thing is I have a overrated set of Crown hubbies the same as on the front car, but I haven't put them on because all the rest of the guys roll with hubbies. I was also going to do fender mirrors and I have a NOS JAF badge for my grille too, but I don't want mine to look exactly the same as anyone elses so I will leave it all off. Maybe I should airbrush a big lion on my bonnet. :)

I actually like your car alot without hubbies Chobis, the black steelies look tougher.

 

Stefan's KE10 has always been a favourite, would have to be one of the mintest KE10's in Aus

 

For a KE20 guy I am really liking the KE10 shape more and more, I think my next Rolla will have to be a granny KE1#

Oh my god I went to Birdwood to see it but I didn't see those! :)

I saw 3 others though, a white KE20 and maybe KE10 or something and Ashie's KE20 i think, but no others and I was looking out for them all day! grrr.

They look wicked though, especially since they're all matching haha
