philbey Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) ok here's one for you bosozozukouzuzoo fans and JAV watching crazies. I picked these rims up last night, they're pretty funky and different and lastly, 4x110 stud pattern. I've got some repair work to do an a bit of elbow grease to apply first and they'll be going on the wagon (hubbies have done their dash!) Anyone know what they are? Enkei cast in the back of them, that's about it. Edit - Pics are useful: Edited September 30, 2009 by philbey Quote
PHATKE20S Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 What size are they....13" or 14" x ?....... Quote
Axentrik Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) Enkei AL Dish. very uncommon wheel, what are the specs? Edited September 30, 2009 by Axentrik Quote
philbey Posted September 30, 2009 Author Report Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) Cheers Axentrik, 13's, not sure of width, but they've got 185's on there so I'm guessing about 5.5inch. I dig em. All are filthy, 2 are straight and clean, but the other two have copped a beating. One needs a rim dent "straightened" (roundened?) and both have chunks missing from the lip that I'll get my mate to rebuild with weld then I'll file back and polish the lip. I was going to put gloss black highlights on the cast-finish bits around the openings, but the actual cast finish is quite a fine one so I'll just leave them as is I think. Edit - Wow I just googled them and found this great link. I spent all night trying to find some sort of guide like this! http://www.ratdat.com/?page_id=98 Edited September 30, 2009 by philbey Quote
Axentrik Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 yep that's a great resource :P Quote
philbey Posted September 30, 2009 Author Report Posted September 30, 2009 Do you know much more about them? I've never seen them before, that's why I got them. Pretty different, should look good with a cleanup. Quote
Axentrik Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 nah don't know much at all, just used that site to find out what they were :P Quote

philbey Posted October 2, 2009 Author Report Posted October 2, 2009 Yeh that thread is madness - I reckon I saw it a while ago but couldn't find it no matter how hard I googled (and I'm one of the forum members that can actually use a search engine!) Quote
benzo Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Should look good on the KE16 Philby, with some smaller profile tyres Cheers, Ben. Quote
philbey Posted October 2, 2009 Author Report Posted October 2, 2009 yeh it'll get the 175/70s with loads of tread that my stockies are currently wearing, but then I'll go down in profile a bit. Wonder what walls would look like on them? Quote
Taz_Rx Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Wonder what walls would look like on them? I personally think they work better with the stock wheel/hub cap look. Can always fit the tyres you have, buy a box of chalk and prove me wrong though!!! :) You familiar with flappers? Being re-usable if you don't like the look you can then sell them or put them of other wheels. Quote
philbey Posted October 2, 2009 Author Report Posted October 2, 2009 Yeh, I think I have to agree, it was just a random musing. What I would like is some of those COOL oldschool tyres with the white script on them. Muscle car style. Quote
