B.L.Z.BUB
OK sale thread is closed, stupid offers anyway. Steering wobble still shitting me to no end. Might have to lose the globes until I can find proper shanks and lose the spacers. Considered lowering it more today but would make the wobble worse prob. SLW42
has the wobble only happened since you put the challengers on the car??
B.L.Z.BUB
Nah it was there before, at the same speed, new tie rod ends. Had a wheel alignment. Think the front left bearing has some play in it. Or I need some hub centric rings.
ke70dave
yeah that wheel beering could very well be your problem.
SLW42
does it wobble under braking aswell?
B.L.Z.BUB
Nothing under braking. Bad at 100kph
SLW42
more money but throw some wheel bearings into it, either that or pull ya hubs apart clean them up abit, have a look and see if you can find any wear anywhere, if not re grease them and put it all back together :) and maybe that'll solve ya problem
ke70dave
don't just buy new ones straight up. get a torque wrench and make sure the torque on the main nut is correct. i dunno what it is, check manual. then once its correct, jack up car, grab the top and bottom of the tyre/wheel and check for clearance. if you still got clearance, new bearings time. B.L.Z.BUB
I'm thinking about putting a Mitzi Evo spoiler on the back.. Then punching myself in the face... a lot. And I have a set of 18's to put on, chrome. With lightning bolts in the middle. Lots of bumper stickers so you know I'm ignorant!!!! Don't forget the UNITPILOT sticker! And a huge aerial and mud flaps...
SLW42
to save any damage to ya face ditch the evo spoiler or i'll call you gay forever, Were'd you get ya flat black paint from?? And make me a unitpilot sticker too
