so ive been driving this to work for the last few weeks with the e85 in the tank as its way to boring on pump fuel and i think that i need to lay off the boost a little as this last tank i have got 90kms from 60 litres. and thats after ive leaned out cruising speeds, so it must suck some serious fuel on boost

this is so mental

 

cheers mate, its a little exciting/dangerous now for a daily driver but i still want more already

my old vlt with the 25/30 t51r 2 speed setup could hit the go pedal and watch the fuel gauge go down was funny at first not when u had to fill up 3 or 4 times on a cruise

good news this tank i got 126kms have played with the tune a bit, if i can get 150kms to next tank will be happy

don't you have a boost control? can't you go 8psi on a lean tune for daily and 35psi on a richy for a thrash/drags?

no don't believe in boost controllers, if you don't want to go as fast don't put your foot down as much. my only boost setting with e85 is 30psi. the main problem with e85 is that you use alot more than pump fuel which makes it even worse when you only do around town driving and have 1600cc injectors. i can get around 400kms on the highway its just town driving that drinks the fuel. will see how this week goes and how many kms i get.

been tuning cressida abit more and will get close to 150kms to this tank lol. will be sending computer back soon to get 4 bar map sensor and update then more boost will come.

went and got another 400 litres of e85 fuel the other day so working on 150kms a tank should get me a whole 1200kms lol. lucky my work is only about 5kms from home
