irokin Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 My KE30 dunger was out in the last two hail storms....not a dent...almost a cut and polish But i wouldnt like my good car to be out in it :D Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 28, 2004 Author Report Posted January 28, 2004 Storm went for the best part of 1/2hr, major hail ownage.. After the first one backed off a tad went out for an inspection, appears i may be quite lucky, but won't know till i give the old girl a cut and polish.. Quote
Teddy Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 crap... bad luck just... dam weather.... i put a car cover ova mine, then unda the car cover, i slid ply wood! So i ended u with a car cover on top of the ply wood (on the roof, bonet and boot lol) I won to the weathter this time :D Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 28, 2004 Author Report Posted January 28, 2004 Worst part of the car is the boot, it got owned big time, 11 cracker hits, 3 or so in the roof yet none on the bonnet? did someone say "act of god"... Quote
irokin Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 f@$kin hell...not good :D and teddy...your post makes absolutly no sense to me! Quote
demuire Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 I understood Teddy's post, but geez man, do you have to make it so hard for us??? *edit* okay, maybe I'm old, grey and boring, but I just find it really difficult to understand a lot of the things you say, Teddy. Maybe it's the spieling mistkes, maybe its the lack of structure and punctuation or something... Quote
TOMsGPTurbo Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 I had a great time today, I drove through 2 massive storms, hail, rain, wind, thunder & lightning, the car was all over the place and everyone stopped but theres no stopping a mad man - I was laughing at the top of my voice yelling 'BRING IT ON!!!..IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!!...etc ' and there was bolts of lightning smashing into the ground all around me, rain on the window that bad I couldn't see 5m's in front of the car and a strange sound of hail hitting the window and metal body... and at one stage the back of the car started to get sucked sideways with debries flying all over the place.. it was a fantastic drive home.... I'm looking forward to tomorrows drive.. apparently there well be another storm! By the way... no damage to the car... oh besides a seal on the window going and me getting a bit wet hehe :D Quote
Ruts Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 Tom tom tom - so disappointed - thought you'd be out in the hail on ya new bike !!! Look out world!! Quote
Xany Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 i had to go for a 200m dash to my car to get it out of the storm......before it hit.....then there was no bloody hail anyway.....this was at northgate, where i work. some nice cracks of lightining about 500m away and a couple of power surges and that was it, storm over..... Quote
irokin Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 it was even more boring down this way looked threatening coming in... dumped a shitload of rain... chuck in a few lightening bolts and rain... and it was gone :D no power surges...nothing gave me a chance to test my new tyres out tho :D Quote
Teddy Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 i know this is off the topic slightly, but i still want to ask - how did ure tyres go in the wet ben? And we got some serious weather - pooooor fence... !!! Quote
Xany Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 ben u must have missed out then....as i was driving home tonight i went past a couple of blacked out areas.....the road looks really different when there aint lights where there should be. :D :D Quote
irokin Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 I know... in kenmore the lights go out all the time...its really tricky trying to turn off with no lights...you just have to floor it and hope!! Quote
