Jordain Posted July 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 27, 2010 Absolutely agree with comments above that the T50 will be fine for your car, and use a T series rear diff out of a TA22/RA28/T18 or along those lines. Sounds like you will have the ability to change it to leaf spring easily enough and narrow it depending on which diff you get. 7 rib 4AGE in either bigport or smallport is a good choice too, rather than a 3 rib. The great benefit of this car is that it is light. Don't weigh it down unnecessarily. Cheer's, I may have my hands on a 7rib - small port motor. I'll have to find a t50 box then get a move on. You will pay a premium for a T50 with the clutch slave on the drivers side of the bellhousing (commonly referred to as a JDM box) whereas the 'ADM' box has it on the passenger side near the exhaust. There are ways to manage that though. I imagine it will be tight enough on the passenger side getting your exhaust past the steering linkages/draglink. Shortened and strengthened ke55 pedal box, Strengethened Firewall too. 15x8 rear rim's 15x6 front rim's 15x195x50 rear tyre 15x185x50 front tyre Stripped Interior, exposing that rx7 tunnel :jamie: Rubbed back boot, Going to grind those stupid number plate holders off soon. Rear winder rust fixed up, Plated from behind. Smere of body filler. I'm deciding on the front suspension, Still abit lost but need to do a heap more research before I decide on anything. Jordain Posted January 3, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2011 It's a rainy day so why not update on my Ke10. It's been a crazy month, The cars ready for painting on tuesday. It's on the Trailer ready to roll.. Heres the last month of progress in no particular order. The second bonnet, bought another bonnet and had another go at it :) 4k, 5 speed motor from a ke55. Rebuilt head. R31 shortened 28 spline diff going in after rego 4age going in later on I will update once the car is painted. Regards Jordain.
