I know that Lappy said that the highest ratio ones were the pano/wagon ones. Is that right? Also, would KE20 diffs fit a KE35-55? Mr Hardware Posted August 24, 2005 Report Share Posted August 24, 2005 i know this. The diff ratios and gear ratios for ke55 4 and 5 speeds are identical, except that the 5-speed has overdrive. Jap diffs unbolt from the front, BW diffs have the bolts on the back... the BW's have a plate mounted on the back that says ratios scott. mikeys toy[RL] Posted August 27, 2005 Report Share Posted August 27, 2005 why hardly, jamie? daisy had 4.44's untill i put a ke25 4.22's in it then i cobbled up rear using a starlet center (3.18), starlet axles, and the ke25 housing. i was running 175/50/r13's and was able to cruise at 110mph until i hit a little hill....i kept breaking them doing burnouts untill i put the te28 rear in it(4.10) now i'm running bubba's 3.58's.... i would much rather have a taller gear than a short one for daily driving Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm sort of interested in a 81 Wagon (is that ke38?), but only if I found the 4.5 ratios in it? Would I find them in that? Also, what ratios did the ke36 (is that the wagon that was based on ke30?)
