Teddy Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 !!! I'm So going to South Africa just for the car range :n: ! Quote
ancullen Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Lol! Got AE92? http://www.toyota.co.za/models/viewrange.aspx?id=5 Shouldn't that be EE92? Or EE93? It has a 2E (WTF!?!) motor. That's SOHC carby fed. It's not even the 4E-FE. How shit is that? And due to the different front end it shouldn't be 92-series. It's pretty unbelievable these cars are still for sale over there. Quote
Teddy Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Thats it ! I'm moving to south africa, and brining cars back with me :n: Quote
ancullen Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 You'd move to South Africa just to get 2E-powered AE92's and "current model" Datto 1200's. If it was for an AE71, AE86, TE27, KE10, or KE25, I might be inclined to agree, but for a crap version of an AE92??? Shame on you Teddy. Shame, shame, shame. Quote
Super Jamie Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 wtf would anyone WANT a 2e? they suck Quote
Super Jamie Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 thats like, buying the jun supra and putting a toyoglide-equipped 1k in it Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 shit if that's an efi a14, i'll hunt one down for the cricket!!!!!!!! Quote
ancullen Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 thats like, buying the jun supra and putting a toyoglide-equipped 1k in it Nice reference to the Toyoglide. :n: The 2E and the 4E even have the same sort of capacity. I would have thought it cheaper to build the 4E as it has been used in far more cars than the 2E ever was. Plus you'd get about 20% more power. If they were determined to use E-series motors I would have gone with the 4E for the basic versions and the 5E for the so-called Sport version. The freakin' Sport version doesn't have any extra power over the basic version. What's the friggin' point!?!?!?! Quote
demuire Posted September 13, 2005 Author Report Posted September 13, 2005 Maybe they had so many 2E's leftover cause nobody else wanted them :n: Quote
ancullen Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Nothing at all. It's just the 4E also equals 1300cc, just it's a better 1300cc motor. And to stop all of you pedantic types out there, yes I know that the 2E is 1295cc and the 4E is 1331cc, we're just rounding. Quote
ancullen Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Try that excuse with Formula One officials when they find out you've overbored your engine just a smidgeon. Quote
Super Jamie Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 Whats 36cc between friends? :n: surprisingly alot, depending on bore and stroke there's only 124cc different between 3k and 4k, but a world of potential Quote
