yeah, the holder for the torsion bar on one side moves. mine only has one in, but i still have to use ghetto stick technology as well. i'll get a photo tomorrow (of the hinge, not the stick)

 

mine has same doors as a ke30 2 door, so i'd need those handles, the ones on an angle

just be careful, if the hinges jam, they will bend. then you will have a big gap at the top of the rear door, and the tailgate will not close. this is what happened with Bec's ke16. we removed the torsion bars, straightened the hinges and now use broomstick technology to hold the tailgate up. a set of gas struts will find their way on one day.......

mine has the same thing on one side, the side that has the torsion bar disconnected. aha!

no back seat at all, it's all factory metal sheeting. i'll get a photo of it without the carpet :)

the 2 door panelvans look better. i might actually have a spare door from a ke30 2 door sedan at my parents. think it is drivers side.

 

what side was your half stuffed tailgate hinge on? might have a passenger side one of them as well as the torque rods.

the ones in the te38 were good the car only had 60,000 mi on it

Umm, I think Haikal's is a KE36. 4 door wagon. How are you meant to put the torsion bars back in? I'd like to put them back into Haikal's wagon, but I can't figure out how to torque them up...

you need to pull off the tail gate, drop the hoodlining in the back, and then the pull both hinges out together. once you have them on the ground you can install the torsion bars.

yeah, passenger side of mine is the bent one. it still seems to seal alright tho, i didnt look too closely. if you've got it lying around, i'll be happy to take it off your hands :)

Both my hinged are disconnected.....

 

I have welded on some VH Holden Commodore struts, and they work a treat.....! :)
