Heya all, just back from Hanging Rock & thought I'd post up a few shots for the benefit of those who couldnt make it :wink: A great day out, way more cars than last year despite the weather looking dodgy early. Although to quote dfunkt "there's more Mustangs here than Ford ever brought into the country", I hit 50+ before I lost count :(

I also found this whilst wandering through the sea of Harley Davidsons in the bike section

 

 

It appears to be a chev-based V8....would go like stink in a straight line but lord help you if you wish to stop quickly or umm...turn!! It'd weigh a ton! :laff:

 

Great day.. I counted 32 Toyotas in our group.. plus there were a few more scattered about the grounds. Not a bad showing really.

 

Thanks to Ian for organising and leading the cruise up to the grounds, it went exceptionally well!

 

Here is a few highlights from the day.. all the Toyotas were cool, these were some of my favourites....

and last but not least... how clean is this.. not your average 78 Corolla!

Adam did you not see the early model crown ute? Tate was saying by the crappy iPhone photo I showed him that it was prob a "40" series. It was parked over from the 1uzfe powered 2 door Volvo.

Miss the crown ute.. there was one there last year in the same spot so might be the same one. What colour was it?

She was white with black steelies and the usual hot rodder/custom Mexican blanket front bench seat.

Reasonably straightish but real good for a "66" model.

hi fellers Stuart here just wanted to say thanks for a great day out, sorry we didn't spend much time with you guys but with all that old school metal around i just got lost with it all. hope we get the chance to go on another cruise with you guys in the future with a few more ROLLA'S on the road. Thomas little beast didn't miss a beat all the way but he gunner have to get some tunes happening inside the cab though by for till the next time.
