Istartfires Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Hey guys, when I give my car some beans at about 5k it starts popping and almost hits a bit of a wall, as if it struggles to rev more. What could be doing this? It's a rb25det with a exhaust, that's it. Quote
cinky Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 has it only just started? perhaps thats the peak of your power curve Quote

19914afc Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 My car did that and found faulty leads, get someone to take it for a drive who knows what it kind of problem it sounds like i.e its not getting spark or not enough fuel, ect. Quote
Trev Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Wrap the coils up in electrical tape and then try it. Quote
Des Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 I'm with trev. Is it fouling plugs at all ? Shit coils will fuel foul the plugs. Quote
basher_ke20 Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 i had the same problem on my skyline. the plugs weren't gaped properly. gap them to .7 and that should fix it. if it doesn't your coils have had it but try the plugs first as even second had coils are 70 each. hope this helps Quote
GJM85 Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) That fastest way to fix it is to stop letting clowns pillage your snickers factory. Period. Â If that doesn't work get the clown back or try buying a toyota. Edited February 6, 2011 by GJM85 Quote
Istartfires Posted February 6, 2011 Author Report Posted February 6, 2011 I only just bought the Bloody thing, and I'm shit with cars :( Quote

Istartfires Posted February 6, 2011 Author Report Posted February 6, 2011 I was thinking it may need one but I don't have the coin Quote
Trev Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Check the f@$king coil packs, why lay out coin for them to probably tell you it is the same thing, sorry but I don't know why people buy cars that they don't research on, splitfire coils for a NEO can be had for under $750, if it is the coils then drive it nicely until you can buy some.
