October 17, 200520 yr comment_77472 an engine should have hone marks on the bores for all of its' running life. an engine with smooth (aka: glazed) bores doesn't hold compression for a boring old stocko VL (especially if it's an auto), 300 thou is getting up there, but it'd have another 100 or 150 k in it Report
