The turbo kit was sold in the end :(

 

Needed the money to finish other things on the car, so down the Track I'll look at turbo or supercharger

(or both :P)

 

Car of the year would be great! But i don't know how likely that would be.

 

This is for sure being painted this week, finish the drivers guard today, touch up a few last spots and then rub it back and spray.

The car is all rubbed back ready for paint, currently hiding under a car cover.

 

Unfortunately the weather is looking insanely shite..

 

Grabbed some more parts off a ke10 my mate has the other day, it's number 32XXX yet has the late model ke11 dash? Yet ke10-242xxx (mine) has an early dash?

 

Anyone know why this is? Was thinking maybe ones an ami and ones a jap one, but it has me stumped!

I thought, ke10-b was the transition between ke10 and ke11 in that the ke10 had the late model features.

 

Which makes sence but the car in question is 32000~

 

So seems much too early for that

I get a bit worried leaving it there, my Pulsar got broken into twice parked in the same place last year, but so far so good with George :)

My mum told me about a corolla wagon on that road so i went for a look, she guessed it was the same as mine but i thought she might have mistaken it for a datsun :lolcry:

Keep the pics coming. Stu already said it but that turbo kit is gonna be a tight fit in that car... Keep the work going I wanna see a ke10 in car of the year, Spencers ride is a tight unit but ke70s aren't my thing.... (jelous? Lol)

 

Getting me amped to get back him and get my wagon overhaul started.

Getting another gear lever off a mate this week to chop weld bend and make a gear knob for it.
