SLO-030 Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Pretty much any reputable exhaust joint. Nothing really of the shelf for them like late model cars.

Jono.C Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 I always take a trip to the wreckers and get a full exhaust off a falcon or commodore.. Usually 2" - 2.25" Just chop and weld to make it fit and buy a meter of 7mm steel rod to make hangers. Costs about $35 for a full exhaust Plus, if you get one with twin downpipes off the exhaust manifold, chop them up and weld them on the rear and you have a pair of drift tips ;)

altezzaclub Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Is it school holidays already?? Do you think your full-race motor can fill a 2" or 2&1/4 inch pipe?? What else have you done to it?? I'd say even a 2" is more than what you need... inch and 3/4 would do, no problem. Somewhere along the way you will pass from "sporty but stock so innocuous" into "please pull me over Officer.." Make sure you have a good resonator on it!
Heath. Posted June 22, 2011 Author Report Posted June 22, 2011 hahaha I'm not in school broo. finished last year hahaha race motor.... dude its a 4 K hahah i havent done anything to me engine yet. cause well its a 4 k do i needa say more? I'm just gonna do a swap down the line.
Kezzar Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 i spent a day hacksoring my mates exhaust of hes written of ke70 sedan and got the extractors of him, it was a 2 1/2 inch straight through, with pacemaker extractors to twin under sweep pipes, took it to the local exhaust shop and he extended molded and fitted it to my ke70 wagon, only 3 hours labor, he didn't charge me for the extra pipe used. and as far as I'm concerned it sounds like piston sex. :D in total it only cost about 300 bucks for extractors and whole exhaust plus labor. :) P.S i think the 4kc carby linkage and extractors share the same bolt so its about an hour more labor, don't take my word for it but :P
Kezzar Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 what the hell is piston sex? A good sound >.<
