September 20, 201214 yr Author comment_627841 Made one, thought I could use a lot of the bolts from the KE70 struts but nooooooo... Had to use the 12mm bolts from my bonnet for the backing plate. Brake bolts are wayyyyyy to small. Anyway getting there. Report
September 20, 201214 yr Author comment_627850 Looks good. What spring rate are you running? 6kg. Probably should of thought ahead with the coilovers and welded them on a bit lower. As it is they are 600mm from top hat to axle, the old stock ones were 580mm ish. I reckon I have about 50-60mm to play with and I'm never gonna sack it on its ring so hopefully it'll work out. Report
September 20, 201214 yr Author comment_627863 I'm thinking I may have to, I was going to bolt it all in and then take it for a run and see if it locks the rear much. I'm assuming it will after the stuff Ive been reading. Bias adjusters are relatively cheap anyway. The best option would be a JDM 86 disc rear end with an LSD but thats a lot of money for a car thats only ever gonna run a stock 4AGE. Or I steal Lukes corona disc borgy and reweld the shock mounts. September 21, 201214 yr comment_627937 only cost me about $800 for hilux diff conversion including ma70 supra rear brakes. Then probably only another 400 for tailshaft. Report
