OK so I did a bit of googling. The cams are set right, the HKS cams can run fine on standard cam gears, I will need adjustables to fine tune them perfect but for now they are ok. Checked the clearance and they seem to be within tolerances. As for the rattling noise, there are a few threads I have read with some guys who have just had rattly GTE/GZE after rebuilds when they get hot. Doesnt seem to be an issue. I'm gonna reassemble it tomorrow and take it for another drive and try and pin point the noise better.

EDIT: This is pretty much whats happening with mine. http://forum.twincam...knocking-sound/

Its the sc that's noisy. Just took it for a mad boost and its gone away. Might need a rebuild. I don't care I can sit here and listen to it idle all day.

I could watch the "lumpy dumpy" vid on youtube all day!! Such an awesome idle!

Have you been freaked out by the over-run on the GZE yet? I had an ae82 GZE for today and the decel delay on the rpm when you close the throttle takes a bit to get used to.
