August 15, 201313 yr Author comment_664769 Leave approved today. I have 9 days off from the 23rd. Engine should be good to go by then. Mate at work is lending me an engine crane. Thinking I'll run stock boost/intercooler until all the bugs are ironed out. Bought a battery box and terminals and will grab some battery cable from work to mount the battery in the boot. I have bucket loads of wire offcuts from work I have saved so that should cover me for wiring. Report
August 20, 201313 yr Author comment_665114 Played around with the rear 55 bar tonight. Looks like it will fit the body indents pretty well. Surprisingly they look like they will be too narrow so I will need to chop up the 30 bars and use the 55 caps for a good fit. 30 bar I am unsure if its the bar being dented or the fact its a 55 bar but it doesnt hug the body as well. View from the top with the 55 bar View with 30 bar In conclusion: Chop 30 bar about 15mm longer than 55 bar on each end. Mount 55 end caps. ?????. Profit. Report
