If we get the windscreen guy round this week(mate had a brain failure and forgot his bonnet pins) We are taking my mates "sev" for a shake down run before the tampered track day on AUS day weekend.

It's pretty easy to spot she's bright green might have a black bonnet again but not sure. Come and say hi if I don't spot your efi beast first!!!

Ill be coming up to watch a mate in his 180, trying to get him into tracking his car

 

Look out for a blue/purplish 180SX or a red AE82... sadly my car wont be up to scratch to fling it around on the track, thats if i get it before the weekend, if not ill be in my mums car lol :glare:

Ill be the tall lanky bloke hunting down all the rollas in the paddock :)

Yea will definately say hi,I'm kinda dreading the drive up there with the 4spd @ 4500rpm but its the only way I'm gona get there!

Assuming sev means ke70 haha is that the one that was at the japan classic day with the 4agte?

if so I am very interested to see it run and chat to the owner,have a similar setup in an escort

Yep that's the one Ryan. I built the engine for him, gotta look at the dump pipe and exhaust system. Made around 170rwkw @20psi with a 2.5" exhaust system. The thing hit the wall at 170 with both the gt28/60 and gt28/76 on 20psi. He will leave it until after this weekend and then we will put it on the hoist and go to 3" from turbo back which should unleash the fury.lol. His name is Travis and I bet would be pretty keen to have a gander at your ITB K motor.

 

I've just realized I've got my mates daughters 1st b'day Sunday Arvo so I might not make it.

Was a great day, didnt manage to have a chat to the owner of the green ksev, and only had a 2 sec chat to paul, but met the owners of the AE82's.. they were insane!! those cars gave me alot of ideas :happy:

Yeah it was going pretty well.. its definitely got a decent amount of power :cool: is it running a 4AGTE?

Yep but the 2.5" exhaust/dump pipe he has on it limits it to 160rwkw. It should see atleast 240 with a 3" setup and an extra 12psi.

So how did the clutch and rear diff fair in the datto mate?

 

Yep I should. I'm taking the 1600 to winton AUS day weekend for a look see! Will be boring with the 2 1/4" zorst holding it back to 4psi.

clutch and diff were typical nissan bulletproof..

 

the brakes and oil temps turned out to be the weakness's :)
