Curious to know how you plan on putting fuel in it, seeing as you shaved the fuel cap. Will you have to go in via the boot?

Yes Lloyds build is/was amazing! Deffinatly some insiration floating around there somewhere..:rolls: It's like a bible incase I run into any little problems :P

 

And yea i'm putting a 30lt fuel cell in the boot haha

Gotta say, I'm pretty happy with how the paint has come out, considering I done it all myself in a dusty little shed :happy:

Nice colour, its hard to make a 70 look good in a dark colour so I hope you have the rest of it planned well.

 

Or just go fully dark stealth

Chrome trim above the doors, and that little bit that goes just behind the back doors, White DEEP dish wheels with stretched tyres, Gloss white full cage inside.....Should look dope :wink:

 

Seriously need help finding:

 

Chrome trim... Just above the doors, Behind the back doors and the trim around the windscreen

 

And a set of Quad lights and chrome bumpers!!!! Haha

you wont find gutter chrome (above doors), its impossible to remove and no one sells it after market.

 

The rest of the plan sounds wicked. (assuming its track only?)

Build looks good.

 

Also don't get why people think that Lloyd started a trend, 1uz's have been going into corollas for years.

looking sweet mate, and reed that old rolla also looks sweet :D

I think i'll have to go for a trip to the wreckers then...

 

And yea 1uz's have been going into corolla's for ages, But the smiths took it that one step further and put a lot of thought and detail into the build, With the steering, all the mods in and around the car and the end result was just amazing! haha

 

And yes track only, I'm on my green P's so :glare: ( 4ltr V8 Corolla > 4K Daily )

You must be doing it wrong.. I've never had a problem with it? Leave the car in the sun for a while so it becomes a little more soft than usual and just be careful. Never fails me. :yes:

 

Love the colour, Yeah lloyd's wasn't the first 1uz ke70, i reakon he got his inspiration from the motorfix one as his is 2 door converted as well.

 

Lloyd now has like custom headers in his to properly fit around the chassis rails etc, so that may be something you'll run into down the track

was just going to mention thr motorfix crew, effing crazy

Color came up nice. Instead of chrome, should matte black everything ;)

Nice progress, much more so panel wise than me haha. I should have my engine mounted soon :)
