This thread will be the first place he updates. http://www.performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?67219785-2jz-Ke20/page118 Quote

oh what a nissan feeling! Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 (edited) Lasted a long time and big power on a stock bottom end. The entire engine was fully built with high-end parts, stock crank yes, stock block yes. don't believe all the BS. Edited January 30, 2012 by oh what a nissan feeling! Quote

What are you getting at? All i said was the bottom end let go (stock crank and ACL cast bearings). That was the weak point, and it did well to hold up with the power it made for so long. Whats the BS? http://www.oke020.com/ Quote

Lasted a long time and big power on a stock bottom end. Clearly we have a different definition of what a 'stock bottom end' includes. In fact bar a few stroker engines out there it would seem everyone is running a stock bottom end. :lolcry: 2jayzeenoshit! Quote

Mine, it is a stock crank, and equivalent to stock cast bearings. Not talking about pistons or rods or modified oil pump or anything else. I am referring to the crank, bearings and thrust washers. What is the mis-understanding here? It is an equivalent stock bottom end. And this was the first weak point. Edited February 1, 2012 by ae824ate Quote
kickn5k Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 Don't you mean cast main cap failure was what caused it? Standard OEM Toyota cranks have proven reliable at 2,000hp just got to hold it in place. Quote
