April 27, 201214 yr comment_600172 Yes, correct on both counts. the actual extra clamp force probably isn't that impressive beacause the moment arm is so small. if I didn't have homework I would have calculated it *procrastinating* After all the effort that goes into reducing rotating mass, well this genius idea just offset all the weight you shaved off your flywheel. and the fact that these things slide, as well as that retainer ring, it's all a nasty setup to balance. April 30, 201214 yr comment_600711 wouldn't have anything todo with 4k's being in a forklift? same setup as small motobikes? I doubt HKS would do a performance part for a forklift.... And forklifts tend to run torque-converters and/or hydrostatic drives anyway so a clutch isn't required. Report
April 30, 201214 yr comment_600756 So who bought this??? I was going to, but after comparing the flywheels off my 5k and the spare 4k one I had lying around, I found they weren't the same. Seeing as I want to use the 5k flywheel and couldn't guarantee it would fit I bypassed it. That now proves my theory of my import 5k having a t series behind it in the past. Report
