SLW42
Ask all your questions here that you are unsure of rather than starting a new thread everytime.... Everyone started here once so help the new kids out And FFS use correct spellings and grammers while you're typing the question.... It is quite annoying trying to desifer text talk or just plain lazyness, take your time and explain to the best of your knowledge what you are talking about and I'm sure people will be glad to help

SLW42
The spelling mistakes were put in on purpose but thanks for taking the focus completely off what the topic is about lads ;) You get the point though..... It's farking annoying
silverra23
Would noobs realise they are noobs with noob questions and therefore be switched on enough to ask their noob question here? Just a thought :)
irokin
What the hell is this new fad of starting threads that replace entire forums? Doesn't make a lick of sense to me. "The Noob Question Thread" replaces http://www.rollaclub...ral-mechanical/ "What Did You Do To Your Corolla Today??" replaces all of these http://www.rollaclub...ollaclub-rides/ "The 'K' Engine Disscussion Thread" replaces http://www.rollaclub.com/board/forum/67-kexx-corolla-discussion/ "The General Engine Issue Thread!" replaces http://www.rollaclub...ral-mechanical/ I know there's a couple of others too. philbey
Totally agree with Irokin. It's much easier to moderate single topic threads. For example, when I see a topic titled "hot to fit falcon springs into Ksev For drifting" I just ignore it and let the mouth breathers quibble. It's like a crèche of sorts that I never have to enter. In my brain it made sence so that all the questions that frequently get asked can just be linked straight to one thread rather than people just being smashed with 'use the search button' Feel free to delete this thread if you want no skin off my nose.... philbey
Nah we'll leave it. I don't mind raising issues that have already been covered, although in some cases people get a little more nasty than I'd like with the "use the search button" responses. irokin
Feel free to delete this thread if you want no skin off my nose.... I'm not out to delete everything I disagree with, that'd be censorship which is crap. I just don't understand the rational behind them is all. I don't mind raising issues that have already been covered, although in some cases people get a little more nasty than I'd like with the "use the search button" responses. It makes perfect sense to me to revisit issues. Everyone that encounters the problem and solves it independently might approach it differently and revisiting the issue in a thread allows people to share what might be a better solution to the problem. Plus as you revisit the issue you generate more potential results so that people CAN find it when they search. Finding one lonesome thread in the deepest depths of Rollaclub can be quite a challenge at the best of times. "Google it/search it/RTFAQ" responses annoy the ʞ©$ɟing shit out of me. If the answer is blatantly obvious then leave it for someone less experienced to answer. Give someone less l33t than you a chance to contribute around here. To me there's two options: A) Address the question (posting a link DIRECTLY to a solution thread is included here provided the post is devoid of snide remarks) B) Don't contribute to the thread There is no "C) Tell them to search caws its mega obvious and this exact problem has been covered leik thousands of times lulz now I have a bigger epeen for telling that guy off" Heck, maybe we should start a weekly thread in the mod area and posts links to all the "Search!" responses so all the mods can downboat them to oblivion. iwontarolla
I do have a pretty noob of a question. I bought what I thought to be a t series diff. I had two to choose from out of a rt132 so I went to build one good one out of the two. But the centers where different. They were both 10 bolts same axles by the looks of it, same housing brakes and everything. But one had a long stud on the centre and one didn’t. At the time this didn’t really click to me so I bought the one with the short stud as I couldn’t get the centre out of the long stud one. Did I buy the wrong one? I’ve tried searching but couldn’t find anything. Thanks guys
