Hi everyone, I'm planning on doing small service on my 4ac and i am just wondering which oil i should use? Thickness wise and type wise? the engine was rebuilt less than 10,000 Km's ago and this is the first time i will be changing the oil since buying the car. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Just get 20w50, Castrol.

I use Valvoline 20w50, sometime's you can get it for a bargain.

I think i saw an advertisement for that valvoline stuff at autobahn for $12?

 

Though i usually go penrite for no real reason, hpr30 for old cars.

Thanks a bunch guys, confirmed what i was hoping. Definitely going 20w 50 grade oil, definitely synthetic and brand wise, i will see what i like on the day.

nah don't go synthetic, waste of money.

Ended up going with Valvoline, 20w 50.

Not sure, was changed previous to me buying the car

Penrite HPR30 is the go, used it for the last 20 Years. Ke70Dave Penrite HPR50 is for older motors as it is 40/70
