altezzaclub
With great difficulty! Although my XX has a woodgrain auto shifter top, something that Steve swears is not factory. I reckon it is, part of the XX mistique...
parrot
You could buy some woodgrain contact that gets used in kitchens. If they still make it (showing my age there). Realistically I reckon thats what Toyota used anyway I would think you could apply it around bends with judicious use of a hairdryer. Otherwise you would have to buy the dash parts from a model that came with woodgrain. Modify sometimes has these. You could ask him to keep a lookout for you. Off the top of my head, I think the overseas SL models were the ones with woodgrain. Edit: You would need to get your parts scrupulously clean to be confident it would stick, and spend a large amount of time cutting the contact to size. peterd
For flat areas, you can use iron on wood veneer. It's expensive but an excellent, high quality product. How about the exterior? You could make it the first corolla woody!
B.L.Z.BUB
Hydrodip it.
coln72
If it is for a KE2?, wood grain dash inserts existed from the factory. Had a complete set up for my KE20 that includes the gauge panel, the heater control panel, the glove box and the end pieces of the dash. Unfortunately the old man threw it out :(
