At tonight's club meeting Simon Koning said he'd been contact by Alan from the Rising Sun Club (organisers of the Day) to say that there was construction work happening in and around the site and the event would probably be postponed. I think that's a great thing and if it was to be more officialised and people made to register etc, then it'd end up dying in the arse a bit. Sure, i agree that he could have handled the transactions better, but at the same time we ALL got an '04 trophy for Zip. Zilch. Nada. NOTHING. These days, us proper Enthusiasts have f@$k all events where we can all go, have a good time, a nice perve on the cars we love and generally not get harrased by the Big Wigs. Think about that. Matt.
