If you wanna do a custom bonnet some people will cut out and have it transformed into their bonnet like how people do with the old GT induction scoops that way you could keep the original bonnet and line of the car but it would also look very unique.

 

P.S. I take it you are only after the buldge.

did this once with an XA bonnet onto a TD cortina, all i did was cut the skin off the xa, sat it on top of the cortina bonnet, left the front on the front (funny that) trimmed the sides and back to line up with the existing cortina lines, went nuts with the welder and sikaflex!

bugger of a job and I'm not volentering to do it again

My mate did that with his AU falcon.

 

Had an XB GS bonnet moulded to fit and looked very tough.

Can you get us a pic of that? It sounds hideous.

 

There is a Green VB Commodore that gets around down here with XB Bonnet vents in it, it looks ultra horrible...It also has tail lights all the way across the back...so when he hits the brakes, the whole back of the car lights up

:thumbsup: -I kinda like the bonnet of this KE30. I found it in a thread a while back but can't remember.

love that falcon... looks hot. the red rolla above was featured in fast fours october2004 and the bonnet was from streeter by streeter in queensland i think.
