I sold the 5K today to SLO-030 to make way for something with a little more potential from the Mazda stable.

 

2 cammed 5K KE36/8's hitting the street very soon :)

 

This means I'm going to require your assistance for mounting the engine and gearbox :cool:

 

Might also wanna get in touch with Henry (KE20me) i think he's had experience with rotor > corolla conversions. And If memory serves me right, he also did the original mounts in Ryan's 20.

I may have sourced myself a 12A and gearbox to suit....I'll keep you all posted. :jamie:

Looks like that one has fallen through, but I got another PM tonight regarding a complete motor and box for the same price.

So I got the RX-626 today and proceed to pull the 12A and 5 speed from it with the help of my mate..Habib of U'leh.

Do you reckon you will have to rebuild the engine before you throw it in??

I had it running and it runs fine so I think I'll give it a nice service once its in and see how long it lasts :jamie:
