I don't think the Supra will have the V10, I think that's for some other car. It looks like the Supra will get the 3.5L 2GR-FSE V6 with even more than the 315hp it makes currently. There's talk of around 340hp. The top model will get the 5.0L 2UR-FSE (which is coming out in the soon-to-be-released Lexus LS600h) with about 450hp. That'd be plenty wouldn't it?

V8's are more compact and with 5-litres will produce PLENTY of power. Rumour has it (in the latest Wheels) that even the Lexus LF-A supercar will now have a V8, not a V10. Wouldn't be surprised if it hits 500hp.

V8s are boring. Everyones doing them these days. Bring back screaming V10s and 12s

i think VW should make a V9 .. lol they like there v5 and so on lol... well its not really a V but it would be funny

without tring to sound racist. the japanise are not the best at starting/inventing new things, but they are great at improving stuff that is already around, i heard somewhere even the sprinter design was "borrowed" from somewhere, but i don't know how true that is..

So? Just because F1 decide to be retards doesnt mean the rest of us should have to put up with unexciting engines.

Forget v10 I'll stick with the v8. V10's are an expensive amount of power that will never get used due to we don't have anywhere to bring out their full power. i also find the new camry unappealing.

V8's are great because they're more compact than the V10 or V12. However, any top of the range 'hero car' should have something like a V10 or V12 simply because it stands out from the pack. Oh, and V10's shouldn't be 8.3L pushrod pieces of crap either.

Exactly! Who cares about complicated or expensive. Its supposed to be the pinnicle in a lineup. Unfortunatly the F1 f@$kwits can't see that and like to use a trashy common configuration. V10/12 FTW! At least it would sound good then :y:
