Agreed, I've played both and Battle Gear was the shit, but they got rid of it *CRIES* Quote
demuire Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 Battle Gear 2 is pretty lame though, but yes much enjoyed Battle Gear while it was around... They used to have it at Chermside Westfield, but not anymore ;) Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 they had some obscure difit game called Side by Side at intensity last time i was there. iirc it was actually sbs2 http://emustatus.rainemu.com/games/sbs.htm http://emustatus.rainemu.com/games/sbs2.htm it was really quite fun, except the sprinter was totally gutless, and the FC3S was quicker than the FD3S because it was geared way better. japan got drift games before australia even knew what power oversteer was anyway, how about a copy of this initial d game for all of us ;) you can get initial D for psx, but it's ntsc only so you'll need a mod chip, an emulator (http://www.superjamie.net/games/emulator.html) or an american playstation Quote

Wood§tok Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 nothing will ever beat the physics that were in arcade sega rally 1. nothing feels better than those cars. pitty its so hard to find now. aniother thing. GT4 prolouge on PS2 is really good, but too short. plenty of cars (at least 50) but only 5, brand new really cool tracks. it looks pretty as hell and this time they have actually tweaked the driving engine for the first time since GT1. the game is basically a driving test that teaches you how to drive really well. the physics are spot on. the cars do exactly what they would in life. very accurate weight shift and traction physics. it also comes with a DVD that shows you a hole bunch of cars out on a racetrack going full bore. real cars driven by heaps of software developers. it is astounding how many cars are included in the video and will also be included in the game. for the first time Ferarri will be coming to the party. can't wait. cheers.
