  1. If ke70 and ke55 struts are identical does that mean that you could bolt ae86 struts straight into a ke55 like you can a ke70?
  2. Looking good man. Can't wait to see it all back together wheels and all.
  3. Nothing else been done really. Just trying to work out if my gearbox tunnel needs any extra room for the gearbox or not. It clears as it is now. But the sump is sitting on the crossmember ATM.
  4. Might have to give my engineer a call when I get a chance then
  5. Found it on eBay believe it or not. Spotted it and clicked buy it now straight away before someone else saw it. If you search around you can pick up sr20 engine with a blown headgasket for around $150 on forums. Think I saw one on Silvia forums for $150 pickup blown headgasket. No gearbox or wiring or anything though just the engine
  6. Would be up to you man. The plus side would be a ca18det and I think sr20det would bolt straight in when you pull the ca8et out. I picked up my sr20de complete with loom ecu. Gearbox. Inlet and exhaust manifolds. The lot. $300. Add the $280 postage cost me so $580 delivered to my door. Matt
  7. Mine would be my vl. Around about 220rwkw and 1300kg. Was quicker then be 6 litre's at all speed's.
  8. Hey man. Just wondering how much clearance you have over your crossmember? And if you have any idea on what the minimum clearance needed is?
  9. They are shit for long trips. But they are awesome when you go into the bends because of the adjustable side lumbar. Dummy fitted ATM. So that I can work out engine mounts. Haven't had time to go out there today much. Dad's in the hospital with a broken knee. So going into the garage when I get back home from the hospital. Check my crossmember to sump clearance so I can see if it needs to go up or good where it is.
  10. That's a good wagon that just got of me man. And if it comes with the prelude seats they are awesome :lolcry: Yeah bit of a change lol
  11. Thanks mate. I love the look of this car. The colour and the shaved bits, and the wheels. All seem to work very well together. Glad I got my hands on it. Hopefully it shouldn't take to long to get it running with the sr20.
  12. Ok. Well after a lot of thinking. And being sick of waiting for my other ke36. I made a decision. So went into the garage at 10:30pm not long after getting home. And was finished up for the night on what I wanted done by about 12:45am. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/w...tc/9fe50353.jpg Here's a more decent pic of the exhaust manifold also. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/w...tc/49c00562.jpg Empty bay. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/w...tc/0b6734c8.jpg My new shifter setup :lolcry: big thanks to ke20rolla http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/w...tc/c3da1ddd.jpg And engine in... http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/w...tc/811de053.jpg http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/w...tc/811de053.jpg
  13. I know. The other rolla isn't at my house
  14. I'm still unpacking stuff from moving in. Engine wasn't in the garage till 8pm. And trying to get the turbo 4k in the blue ke36 running so why would I pull it out?
  15. Just got here today. And incase you didn't notice that corolla is my blue one.
  16. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/w...36/49c09cfc.jpg
  17. I see nothing camry about this car. That is an awesome ke20 you got mate :blinks: I looked into a ls2 for my ke36. But decided against it due to the fact that I wouldn't of been able to engineer it. If only I had the car and a shitload of money last year I couldn't got it engineered. Can't wait to see more pics :jamie:
  18. Sounds good man.
  19. But a 5k is simple cheap and quick to do. And he only ask for simple and quick to do.
  20. Sounds good man. After anything in particular? Or just a fun car?
  21. dyno tune will obviously net you the best result. Just make sure you have a carby rising rate fpr. Malpassi seems to be the way to go for the carby's. I take it you'll be going blow through by the sounds of it? What engine you using? Also what turbo?
  22. So what happened? You sell this or still got it? Updates if you still have it?
  23. I picked up my 1.8 for $63 with a spare block. The $1,500 + for the 6 speed gearbox is what turned me off though.
  24. Lol that's what I was about to say. Wastegate only control's boost. Can't think of anyone that has drilled the secondaries out on te stock carby for boost. My 4k turbo carby has a weber on it :)
