cheers mate, yeah bundy hit the rollers today, made 111kw, less than i was hoping but in reality is quite good considering the tyre and mechanical loses, still quite impressed tho

Hahaha cheers mate. Not sure if I like tue sound of it ATM tho. It's tinny in the cab. I haven't heard it out side yet tho. Your should go nuts with a turbo. I just can't way to get this new motor and quads in Paul
-

yeah was really stressing me out, there dear as all shit and wasn't liking it at all, engine build has been dead in the water waiting on them too, major load off
-
yeah don't need a turbo on the rolla, get plenty of turbo fun from the bundy, soon to be a hell of a lot more fun, if not plain scary not much progress tho, still waiting on parts, although i got an email today that my cams have finally been sent, over a month since i ordered them :glare: paul

update time head is finally done with the match porting and clean up, didn't get too drastic, just took out the rough bits and fixed the shit castings, it looks like its had a fair bit of work around the valves already and they a have a had a three angle job done on the seats shouldn't be long before it get sent to my head head man for machining as the valve springs have arrived just waiting on the camshafts that i have ordered there some tomei camshafts, biggest hydro ones they do, 8.8 lift and 270 duration, apparently good for 3500-8500+ which 8500rpm is where I'm going to set my rev limit shouldn't be an issue either as ive found that the new motor has arp rod bolts  also been very busy with the tig, extractors are done, wrapped, painted and fitted while being built test fit in the bay and all wrapped and painted their equal length and tuned for about optimum power around the 6500rpm mark, thought this would be good even area on where it would make its power with good leeway either side when i had them fitted had and extra muffler fitted which has cut the noise done a bit, good for when i get the quads in there, bit nicer on the daily drive too also got a trd 2 way lsd from a zenki gt-apex, which i pulled down and cleaned, and just double checked everything is right, looks brand new inside, just waiting on the rebuild and solid pinion spacer kit from the states think thats about all for now paul

Looks like I'll be making this one. Apparently a few other Frankston kids will be too -
saw this on car sales, so wanted to buy it, just wouldnt have fit in it nice car man
-
was that a crack? anyway, called the john today, and prices have gone up, there now around the $450 mark, but the machining and hardening processes have improved, so they can handle more power and work a bit better pity about the price tho, pretty much means it out of my price range paul
-
grave dig, but i bought kangaroosa's, the bearings died when i ran it dry on oil, then sold it to mate, and the guy he sold the car to just sold the car on ebay and listed it had the "lsd" so it seams to have lasted, needed new springs when i got it thinking of getting a new one now

when you say no 4wd, does this mean no awd or do 4wd? would like to see what the bundy is running lol -
little update and maybe some help? bought a new motor last week to save the rolla being off the road for the rebuild started pulling the motor apart and it seams to have had a bit of work done, over sized pistons already, only .50mm but still good, and metal head gasket, win! my question is does any one know if ca18de have dome top pistons factory? or are they flat top? done a bit of searching and can't find a decent answer paul
-
yeah full set for a ls2, so i have 8 with the two looms and brackets decided today to triangulate the strut brace since i have some rod ends left over also forgot to add i got pistons, 1mm over sized, doesn't leave any room if i damage one but brings up comp and the displacement by about 50cc paul
-
ok now for all the shinny bits AEM wide band controller and sensor haltech sprint 500, iphone is there to show how small this thing is full set of ls2 coils, have to make a better bracket and get custom leads made up and the horribly expensive plate i had cut to be welded onto my manifold so i can fit the quads hopefully get this welded up in the next couple of days
