ps the bogged rust holes are on the bonnet :bash: its not worth saving too far gone and i don't have the cash for a newy as for the welder being dropped off well once again that fell through....AGAIN!!! along with the owed money got the day off tomorrow so I'm going to get out and find something to do on the car oh and a Q is there anything i can do to make it harder to break into? i want to throw in my stereo out my old car but i get the feeling it wont stay in for long... due to sticky fingers!! ;) this is to be a sat night cruser with a 4k auto so i need to find another way to get the rolla noticed :) had enough of goin fast...the last time i did i lost my 2002 monaro AND my licence ill try to get some work done tomorrow and get up some more pics

ok bogged up some of the rust holes yesterday the borrowed mig welder is going to be dropped off tomorrow(along with some money) YAY :) so once i get some time and spare sheet metal some holes will soon disappear and depending on how much money is left i mitght look into some mechanical parts that are needed hoping this rain will go away soon so i can get back out and do some more work (the car doesnt fit in the shed) starting to get some motivation back :D

sooo much rust in the bonnet :D i knew there was a reason i didnt want to scratch back those bubbles!!!! MATT BLACK it is hahahaha ive had more bills roll in so the corolla is really coming off second best !!! so not much goin on here just waiting for tax cheque then i might get some work done on the 4k. ps. we really need to track down some one in aus that makes panels for our rollas. does any one want to do a straight swap for mine thats already done? I'm looking at you greenmac80 :)

got no idea of the offset but they have 195/50/15 tires and they seem to be big enough. and ive only got a pair so they will prob stay on the back unless i can find another pair.if i do ill get the spacers then can't wait to get lowering blocks in rear and lower springs up front. oh and as for hard cornering that would require speed bahahahahaha thanks for taking a look

this looks killer for a daily... SERIOUSLY wish this was my daily i look forward to getting out on the road (9 months to go) and seening some decent builds :( ive come to the conclusion after reading your thread that mine is going to be sooooo sub standard but hey at least ill be rollin :D keep up the good work

had a look at the bonnet friday... bit too much rust for my liking... :( but picked up a pair of 15" steelies :D and 1 centre cap... only 3 to go hopefully ill get up before my ex drops off my girl in the mornin and do a little more on the car. fingers crossed

not sure if you have a 'clarke rubber' over there but ive heared they have them. also windscreen places have them aswell. (most only fronts though) and ive heared some of the overseas stuff doesnt last good luck tidy car :P

ok update ive tracked down a mig welder problem is the guy whos lending it to me owes me money so I'm not sure how keen he'll be to come around haha none the less decided the lovely brown interior trim will soon be black taken drivers front quarter off and ground back the infamous rust spot behind front wheel to descover a HUGE amount of bog pulled out the rear section of exhaust pipe so i can get the new rear muffler and dump pipe on soon...ish and straightened out a couple dents oh and tried to jump start my commodore with the corolla=epic fail. just didnt have the balls to kick it over basicly just have to get out to UPI and pick up a ke30 bonnet (current one will be a donor for the cut'n shut)

guess i beta post here too :blinks: currently building a ke55< prefer the 30s but this one came up i work weekends and arvos so maybe when the cars finished ill have to chuck a sicky and come out for a cruise :blinks: ( :hmm: oh and when i get my licence back) hmmm 9 months left :blinks:

I'm glad ill be no where near as fussy as you with my (just started) build lol ive read ur whole 29 pages 2nyt and was really looking forward to seeing a finished product at the end..... damn it I'm going to have to wait with every one else :) keep up the motivation !!!

ok so update just waiting to get my hands on a mig welder to start the 'cut and shut' process. due to owing money and waiting to be paid owed money things are moving VERY slow but have cut some rust but the more i cut the more i find :) but ive got 9 months till i get my licence back so ive got time... lookin for ke30 bumbers,bonnet and grill (and centre caps for wheels) i saw all these at 'U PULL IT' at elizibeth just before i bought this car. all in GREAT nic but didnt get them due to not having the car yet :) ps only 148,000 km on the clock :)
