Well, I thought I'd spawn a new thread to post this. We are having to work at some bodgie places lately. Here is the latest... This is a 1960's block of units. They bought the block of 6 for $1.5 Million. They ripped out 4 of 6 undercover basement car parks and turned them into 2 more units. (Now totaling 8) They have dug out the front yard and built an area for 5 parks. So that's 2 original basement parks + 5 new ones totaling 7, while there is 8 units?? The upper floors have many many holes punched into the ceiling. One would think that we would need to resheet the whole thing, but no, just patch. Each unit may have upto 10 holes in its ceiling. They removed a wall which left a trench behind. The walls on either side aren't the same level so the patch in the middle is on an angle. Here are some of the patches... This is my favorite. I found the piece of plasterboard that was cut out. :yes: MASSIVE HOLE To think, they'll sell these units for around $400,000.00 each. There will be more...

Quite happy today. At work I have been learning the language better that my parents speak. I kinda have to, cause one of the guys I work with doesn't speak english. Its amazing how much I've forgotten since I learned english when I started primary school, as we weren't allowed to speak it at home. What makes today even better is that I tought the guy that doesn't speak english a new word. He keeps asking me if working with them is easier than maccas. I replied, "Piss Easy" and it took me a while to get him to repeat it. He didn't trust me so he asked the boss what I meant. Now he says it. :yes: I will have him speaking english... BOOHAAAAAHH (Evil Laugh)

Yeah, not Oz but similar. Like the "Truck" is a Hi Lux, the "Van" is a Torago. The KE30 finishes in 1979 and not 1981 and I don't think all the colours are listed there. As for the brochures, I have quite a few that are listed there :dance:

I've heard of them being used in KE3x's to lower them, but haven't for KE2x's. Could be worth a go, if it doesn't work, put it back.

The JDM KE70's came with Chrome bumpers. You might be able to get them new, but I'm not entirely sure.

If you wanna stay with the K motor, best bet would be 5K or 7K. 7K's are a bit hard to come by and cost a bit, but the 5K's are everywhere and cheap. They give a great deal more power than the stock 3K. I have 5K's going into almost all of my cars. My daily has one currently, you notice the difference right away when you hop from one to another. As for life... Its a K engine, she'll be right for ages.

Just fiddle with it. Sometimes you might not put in on correctly. Assuming you don't have A/C, you should be able to slide your arm in from underneath and play with it while its in place. I know that when I first pulled my speedo out of my KE30 it didn't work correctly when back in, it took a few goes. Tho how did you take it off?? I just pulled on off a car I'm wrecking and as I pulled the speedo forward so I can fit my hand in to disconnect it, the plastic tip from the cable popped off. Maybe just check that the end of the cable looks right.

Well last night I noticed that I have a 4 pack :dance: 2 more to go!!! And today we had a push up comp at work and I kicked ass by 15 push ups!! :yes: Glad all the time I send on my gym pays off ;)

Things that change your speedo's whack is... Changing gearbox (4 to 5 speedo or vice versa) Changing rim/tire size/profile Changing diff Its not that bad once you know how much more/less you have to drive.

I would have liked to see the tornado. :y:
