It sure did look good. I can't say i've seen it around, my KE50 is the first I ever saw on the road. Did you have any difficulties finding replacement parts?? I'm trying to source some window rubbers and since no one knows about the KE50/KE55P i've been looking at alternatives. I'm trying to find out if the RA40 Celica has same sized doors, as it is the only other Toyota in the country made around the same time with frameless doors. thanks, Jonno.

thanks mate, Luckily they gave me a whole KE50 worth of parts including a overrated dash, fairly good seats, trims, ceiling, carpet, good doors, boot, bonnet, all the wiring, original wheels and the center console still with its A/C controls. Sadly as I have multiple projects this car will have to wait in line cause the KE55 Hardtop is first and parts are readily available. Once done hopefully she will be fully restored back to stock.

What you do to them is entirely up to you and what you like. I'd probably freshen up the paint and maybe change the headlights over to the clear Crystals type. They don't really have much of a practical difference but they look better. Oh and have the rims polished.

KE55s has Girlock Calipers Cameron.

I have a feeling that I saw you once and from my memory from behind the car was looking pretty bad?? If the car is as bad as I think you may want to think about re-shelling it. Find yourself another KE30 or even KE55 that isn't that bad. There are a few good ones on Ebay for cheap from time to time. Panel House at Slacks Creek can get you brand new Quarter Gaurds at a reasonable price While RareSpares have brand new KE30/KE55 bonnets and Chrome Strips. Clark Rubber can get most of the rubber what RareSpares can get you as well as the Rust Repair Sections for the quarter gaurds. They get their stuff through a place called Spectrum Rubber and Panel. A good wrecker is Kelly's at Castledine, tho they are abit expensive, they have around 15 KE3X/KE55's, and Wacol Self Serve Wreckers is nice and cheap when they have KE30/KE55's in stock. Park Ridge was another good one once. Since then they've crushed all their older stock. You may see a KE55 every now and again tho I think they are trying to get into the newer stuff. Start a Project Thread for this car and post up some pics so taht we can see and give you some proper advice. Jonno.
