  2. i f@$kin missed it! i had to work sob sob sob
  3. i just had a look on the king springs website and don't know what to choose. some of the travels on some of those springs are only 60mm! :D wtf! what is the free length of your springs? and what is the lenght of thread? that may give me some idea.
  4. holy shit! do they make springs that stiff?! i think about 300lb would suit my car. i had a look at your photo page of hal and i saw how they hold on. do they just sit there?
  5. what do i do when i get springs? do i just ring king and tell them i want xpound spring to fit coilovers? or are there specific mearsurements that they need?, ie diameter and length etc
  6. i take it thats all the bits (besides coils) to fit coilovers to my struts yeah? well i start my new job tomorrow so i will probably get you to sort it out in a couple of weeks, as i need to finish paying off my bushes and the custom front bar i ordered, but i will let you know thanks fook
  7. you mean where do you drain it from? there will be a large drain plug
  8. yes. last time i cut it and put the threaded top back on. where do i get coilover sleeves? how much are they? do they come in a kit? how do they bolt on? thanks in advance
  9. i have heard a lot of talk latley about when it comes to modifying struts, people have been using corona/celica struts, shortening them and then using camry "short stroke" inserts, now, what is probably obvios, i want to be sure of, are camry inserts shorter that normal?, and if so how much shorter? as i have made custom struts before, but i have never used gas inserts in them as i was quoted too much to make gas one's, and didn't know camry ones are shorter. and after shortening the struts, what springs can be used? as the corona ones are way too wide in diameter to use?, i was thinking rt 118 springs as they are only about 3 1/2- 4 inchs in dia, and making my own spring cups and adjustable strut tops.

yes i have heard of this early 22re block and late 20r head give you more compression and the use of double row timing chain (late 22re's use single) as the 20r also, yes, flows better, bigger valves and ports. they also have better combustion chamber shapes. i downloaded a heap of info from turbotoys.com of the 22re performance combinations. also if you could keep an eye 22-rge's that would be much appreciated! :D
  11. thats the spirit!

geuss what i just found. i was "surfing the net" when i came across some listings of parts for a 22-rge, yes a twin cam 22-re! i am trying to now found out where i can get a 22-rge head for my engine, but by the looks of it (and depending on the costs), i may have to import one from japan, as i found no info from aus
  15. irokin, love the avatar! :D
  16. well yes, whenever i do it, it's on private property. i have no time nor tolerance for people who do it in public places, they are the f@$kheads who yes, give every other "young hoon", (as they call us) a bad name.
  17. hehehe. what about a rollcage, and some neons! fu1li 51k 8ro!
  18. thats the shit! i love skids too! when i had my cortina, every friday night me and a group of my mates and there cars would go out and fry as many tyres as we could find and hold or own burnout comps! i also did this in my ke55! i have a video and photos of my 55 and a mates morris pulling burnouts lying around somewhere
  19. lol it needs a body kit too!
  20. when i have the 5 speed in the yella terra, and when the other car is on the road, i will be competing in the first comps after!
  21. quarter mile: 7min 46sec @ 20mph :D
  22. agreed. pretty funny concept though
  23. it's pretty sweet. just like archerfeild burnout comps. you turn up, fry some tyres, and just have a good, legal time
  24. my point exactly, it's only a single cylinder go cart motor or something!
  25. i wonder if the engine would even create enough exhaust gases to drive the turbo?
