  2. hmm must remeber to clean the outside as well as the inside of the car for the cruise. oh and roids i can give u a lift, so dude it only really up to u who u wanna catch a ride with
  3. yeah well alot of people with throw the 20v is worth effort over the 16v :faq:, but like i said the choice is entirely up to u mate.
  4. well stewy, u have a 2 choices 1: swap the engine out 2: sell ur car and buy an sx/gti/twinky or a corolla all ready with a conversion.
  5. what engine does this ae92 have in it 4afc 4afe 4age i was gonna say the only way to make the 92 faster is to swap the engine out for a 4age(if u have 4afc/4afe), 4agze, or a 4agte(converted 4agze).
  6. most of us avoid the bay area and the city :) coz of the boys in blue :monkey: edit: well maybe not all of us, but i know i do :P:
  7. well I'm gonna be different and say the ae92 :) (only coz i own one) and i suggest if u go for the ae92, try and get an sx, seca sx, or series 2 sx (more commonly known as a gti) or u can do what I'm doing and up grading only some parts of my cs to sx :monkey:. but seriously its up to u mate.
  8. and heres a pic of the front brakes with the rim on and i just love the way the disc fills the rims now :P front discs are 258mm dia, 22mm thick vented and yes it pulls up a hell of a lot better now. nest step is to paint the calipers blue
  9. heres a pic with the rim on, now it looks like i have rear brakes edit: ok pic is in the post above :P
  10. heres a pic of the of the of the drivers rear (242mm dia and 9mm thick, solid rear disc) on the car. only reason i have a pic of it was coz i had to put the locating ring back into my rims :P
  11. drivers front disc where the disc was starting to get chewed

  14. that burnout would have made any of the burnout champs at summernats green with envy. extra points for the L's and it being a corolla minus that it not using a toyota engine over all, out of 20 i give 25 and a :P

nah had these rims on it, i can't remember what the are called :P
  16. do we need to answer that :P oh and yeah ur on the money with answering ur own questions :S
  17. no worse than a 1uzfe in a ae86 complied. and ancullen the earlier 4agze was in an ae92 chasis so its usable, but since they are getting up in age and getting harder to find. my suggestion is either a 4age 16v, or if u want to 4age 20v. but this brings up the whole 16v Vs 20v. but if u really want to avoid the hassle of engineenring etc etc, u could always buy a already converted corolla. but in the end it all comes down to what u want to do stewy.
  18. well for a time i had a set of ae92 sx series 2 brake calipers and rotors :P sitting round doing nothing. i sent them off to be reconditioned as they came off of a wreck. anyways to make a long story short the cars going in @ 8am this morning for the brakes to be installed(only so that i know that they are installed correctly :S) so hopefully i should be back on the road in the afternoon maybe thursday morning depends on how busy the guy gets in the afternoon with drop in whell alignments. anyways will post up the before and after pics later coz now i have to find my digi cam and take some pic of the current brakes. ok well i didnt have time to take pics of the old brakes on the car coz i was lazy and running late (as usual) but heres a pic of thr front discs(243mm dia and 13.5mm thick, solid discs) and the rear drums

seen a ae112 yesterday parked in the modbury hospital car park, blue, looked like it was fully kitted, fulli sik habib chromes and a pea shooter exhaust :P). didnt really have much of a chance to have a really close look at it coz i was in a hurry to start work.

  22. which were tossed by the start of the cruise and damn i still have read them. actually did i bring them home from work or are they still sitting on the desk, i will check the front seat of the car when i get out of bed later
  23. if ur referring to the ae92, the 4age came in the sx, seca sx, and gti. :lmao: oh and btw if ur car has a carby its a 4afc
  24. well fingers crossed they are good. but i would have suggested(if i had seen the thread earlier) hankook ventus sport 104, excellent all weather grip :D and they only cost me $132.50 per tire (fitted, balanced etc included). and i suggest u avoid falken ziex in any form as they have crap grip in the wet as i know from experience :D
  25. yep yep i be there in all my glory. *mental note: finish front grill and get it back on the car*
