i will be probably attending as a spectator, unless i pull the finger out and spend some money on getting the car up to some what show spec :) ie removing the rust from the front window and rear guards :(

gze shafts are a whole other kettle of fish ;)) one would assume that ae82/92 4age shafts are interchangable but i wouldnt quote me on that, but yeah a parts stores is ur best friend or even ur local toyota might be able 2 tell u.

lowest of the low for ae90/92 chassis is the 6afc 1.4 litre :y: the only difference(from what i read and been told) between the ze and the ge is the tha ze had forged and ceramic coated piston (but don't qoute me on that i haven been known to be wrong) ok the ae92 had 3 injected engines (4afe and the 4age(7afe 1.8 in the rv seca)) the 4age came in the sx, gti, and sx seca (s1 and s2) 4wd sr5 corolla have a 4afe from the factory, but there have been a few engines swap done to the these, ie 4agze and the 20v 4age. other than that rolla_4 has covered most of it :P

my parents (and the orignal members of the whyalla dirt curcuit) will always remember the day Brocky took the time to come and test the dirt curcuit track in whyalla, it was just after they had finished building/converting it from a motorcross track. the link below is where i found out all the info i needed for my brake upgrade. but if ur only going to be doing the fronts, i would try and get a set of 258mm dia * 22mm thick vented front discs and calipers to suit. (GTi hatch and SX Seca in Australia) also try and get the backing plate as it saves u from having to bed the oringal one back to fing the bigger discs. and its a myth imho(and experience) that the drums hold better on the hand brake than discs http://www.twincam.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=1063 << and try this link for more info

sounds like a good idea, but it would be a bitch just cleaning the blood from the interior after they have lost a limb :y:) so i think i will just avoid driving my car if i have to leave it over night in a hospital car park and just get the olds to drop me off and pick me ;)

well it was the first thing i did to the car and I'm glad i spent the money on the alarm. I'm mainly pissed that the tint had just settled after 2 weeks of being on the car and all the tiny bubbles had dissappeared, that and i had to take the day off of work

and heres the photo shopped version of the second pic :)

as u can see they broke the window with the alarm sticker on it :). all up to fix it cost me. $11 for the window with moulding from u pull it $70 for the full retint of the rear passeger door @ scorpion tint (other window had a few scratches on fro what looked like a screwdriver) and a full day off of work coz i didnt get to sleep until 8pm yesterday due to running on a mixture of caffine/sugar/adrenaline i even make a shameless plug for scropion tint in this thread as he was able to squeeze me in yesterday to retint the 2 windows and @ a cheaper prive for me as i paid cash :)

this is what happens when people decide to take a closer look @ ur car when u arent around. ok heres the story from my point of view. they saw a car with custom plates, etc etc etc sitting in a "secured" (just a camera setup and a guard that suppose to do a walk thru every hour or so) carpark. there are a few scratches on the drivers side at the rear that werent there before so it look like they tried to set the alarm off before they broken in. so the alarm didnt go off and they head around to the passenger rear door and it look like they tried to pry the rear quater panel out before getting the crap and smashing the window which set the alarm off.
