I'll also have to buy another 20v and every bit of conversion gear. Again. ;) Seriously though, hillclimbs sound awesome.

Hey thanks for that LittleRed, I'm just looking for anywhere I can throw my car around and have fun. Being competitive is the least of my worries. I could come last for the rest of my life as long as I'm having fun out there! Cheers for the reply mate!

Mine is 4-1 headers to sidepipe near rear passenger tyre. Except mine kinda aims forwards...

Damn Tasmanians...

I'd say it will need alot done to pass any real kind of scrutineering. Which I can do. It will just cost me money...haha Come on guys, me and Rian are itching to get out there and get amongst it. Any recommendations or ideas are welcome :)

Well no pics or vids but I can tell you that it's insanely loud. Probably bordering on the threshold of pain at 7000rpm. I need earplugs, a helmet and my passenger windows up for it to be remotely bearable from inside the car. God knows how it would be affecting other peoples hearing... I'll be having a muffler thrown in as soon as the money's there.

You've never heard of a longneck of beer? 750ml of VB man. It's win.

As in big, tall bottles of beer. Tall-ies, longnecks, whatever :)

Hey guys, not sure if this should be in the QLD/Brisbane regional section or not but I did drift matsuri at QR recently and it's safe to say that I'm hooked on driving my car hard. Just wondering what kind of events and venues people are attending around the Brisbane area? I know QR hosts a bunch of stuff but wondering what people do other than drift and circuit/sprint. I'd be really keen to get into some gymkhana, hillclimbs etc, anything that's not offroad really. Would also like to know about scrutineering and regulations etc for these events. Just really keen to get out there and drive as much as possible so if there's anything you've driven lately or would like to drive in future, I'd very much like to know about it. Cheers guys :) EDIT: I should also say I'm not confined to just Brisbane, if there's anything that's within a couple of hours, I'd make the mission. I live in Byron Bay so it's still 2 hours south of Brisbane itself. Any which direction is fine. North, South, West, whatever :)

Keeeeeeeeeen!!

Come for a slide too!! For shits and gigs man. I'll go in a race too. Sounds like mad fun.
-
Bring it to QR once it's done. Come for a slide Reed!!!

I'll sponsor you a couple of tallies if that's what you're talking about?
-
Of course.

I reckon we could get him out there.

Rusty spirits. Rusty hearts. <3 EDIT: We could convince Reed and Trev to come out and have a bash around.

Nah man, doesn't start. Bounced off the track at turn 6 and a power wire or something must have come loose. It winds over, it just doesn't start. It'll be something small. I'll sort it out soon.
-
Sweet, I'll get mine running again and we'll get on that shit.

Button fly's are shitehouse. Should change the name of this thread to "First World Problems with Jono.C"

You see people do it all the time though. Cummins in a KE70 with heavy duty gear oil in the shocks and bars welded to the springs...
-
Big wheels look mean but I'm going to stick to 7" or 7.5". XJ9R...Interesting.
-
Is your car ready to go? Or you still need a little more time??

Ueo's a champ. Look at all the AE86's featured in Hot Version etc, they're all running 15x6's and 7's. They just have amazing rubber on them. You don't need 9" wheels to produce grip or reduce understeer...Your driving makes a difference too...

It runs well, just occasionally up high in the rev range it will carry on a little bit. I could just be making an issue out of nothing, the exhaust would probably cause a little gargling and popping. I'm probably just reading too far into things. If I ever have major issues with it, the relocation kit is the first place I'll be looking.
