  1. Mate owned a VN once. Guttered it, paddock bashed it, tried to skid it again, set it on fire and left it. Most experience I've had with them...
  2. Shoopah doopah dorifto!!!
  3. Says the man that hates rotaries :P
  4. Yeah coilovers in the rear are a bitch. Guy I know did S13 rears in his AE86. The amount of fab work done was insane.
  5. Turns out that when Jacob borrowed my coil and igniter at Matsuri, the O2 sensor plug was disconnected/left disconnected or moved and when I headed back out to the track, it must have fallen back behind the motor and it ended up wrapping around my steering column, snapping a wire or two and acting as an earth for something and did some funky shit. Now it won't rev past what sounds like 2500-3000 rpm, crackles and farts and carries on. Going to enlist the help of a mate and try and strip off everything we don't need and try and sort it all out. I dunno. Time for an ECU methinks. EDIT: And a better shell. With all that money I have... By the way, not blaming it on Jacob. Just one of those things that happens.
  6. Not making it to Archy tonight. Major electronic gremlins.
  7. But can you view everything on their timeline/wall? Or does it just find them?
  8. Ohh you guys. :D I did notice a loss of castor in my front end but doesn't look like too much. Didn't know about the steering arms. Lucky I bought my PS knuckles when I did then. I would have been well pissed off if I had to wait another 2-3 weeks before my suspension went in.
  9. I don't think that's true Leo. No need for KE70 top hats or redrilling towers. They bolt straight into the strut towers. You need AE86 front hubs as the stub axles are different from KE70 to AE86 and you will also need AE86 brakes. I don't think you need 86 steering arms. I'm fairly sure manual rack 86 knuckles are almost identical to KE70 knuckles. Basically what the OP wants is the coilovers, some AE86 hubs and brakes and it should be all good. May want to throw in some RCA's too.
  10. Saw someone almost roll an R33 there. Heard of an 86 rolling there, and heard of a keto rolling there. It happens. I won't be trying the first corner if it's forward track. It's not good. You just get used to being surrounded by it.
  11. Gravy. You can come for a loop.
  12. Nono, I mean I'm taking my Rolla out and you should come down for a looksee if you have the time and/or money. I'm keen for QR.
  13. Hey Glen, I don't have a build thread anymore. I'll start another one soon. Nothing special to look at though. It's ALL rusted up haha.
  14. Those new lights look shmick. Head down to Archy tomorrow if you can. Taking the Rolla out for a spin. Literally.
  15. I was actually talking about rotaries.
  16. Eh. You love them or you hate them.
  17. Leaving the thread now. Before I write someone off. :P
  18. Still rotary powered. And that's cool. ??? Putting some words in their mouths there orr??
  19. Those 4G's go alright hey. A mate owns an Evo 8, standard high flowed turbo, aftermarket ECU, set up for E85, pulls like 250rwkw. Can't remember what kind of boost pressure it was running though.
  20. Rotary ftw. :) EDIT: 20B is even more win. Rotaries in anything are almost always a marked improvement on what was in there before. :)
  21. But the EA in mind is cheap as chips!
  22. Back to the drawing board. Rip that test light out.
  23. Mmmmmm. AE70.
