  1. Listen to LittleRed. W55's have very similar ratios to T50's. I did count the splines on mine ages ago but can't remember, think it was 21 but they use a few different sizes of input shaft so you can measure it up and ask whoever you're getting your clutch from to sort you out there.
  2. Now drop it down a tad and boost it!!
  3. The old S13 cluster hey. Should look cool. Go for it.
  4. NASCAR is okay..Drifting is more appealing to me.
  5. So it's a generational thing then? And we've already had the flatcapping dead beat discussion before... Reed, it's okay to not like it but to be "anti drift" seems kinda bleak doesn't it? *waits for Reed to inform me of my hypocrisy and mention "hip hop"*
  6. Yeah. Very lucky. Quite a large drop and a fair few rolls there..
  7. There's nothing wrong with drift. It's fun. You just dislike the majority of the people that are into it. I like a whole bunch of motorsport and I'm not confined to drifting. I just happen to like it. Why do you not like it? Is it because it's "in" right now? Because I personally have never had so much fun in a car. Not trying to be a ʇ~~ɔ here, more to understand why.
  8. Dece.
  9. Know if he's alright? That was pretty gnarly..
  10. I like both. Was that a roller paint job aswell Reed? Or did you can that one??
  11. Those stocking taillights!!!!! So ghetto!! I love it!
  12. My car is such a piece of shit. And I love it.
  13. Yeah I agree. Keep it!!
  14. Haven't you heard? Drifters these days are leaf sprung and auto bro. It's fully sick.
  15. Quite the contrary my friend. It's like anything, build it well, maintain it well and it will last you a long time. And with far more potential than lets say...A 4EFTE. Both 1.3L too :P
  16. Just buy a complete motor or even a whole car. Save yourself some dollars and headaches trying to track everything down. And I don't really think flatcappers come into the equation at all. Look at Rian and Leo's (It's_AUDM_Yo) builds...EFI, done on a budget and no flatcaps to be seen. If you want to go carby then go carby but I think it would be as costly as EFI. If not more.
  17. Don't forget that it's a one owner car and would make a great drift project. Easy another $4k there..
  18. If I were to bother paying someone to build one for me, I'd be using a 20v head too.
  19. Nice carburettors can be expensive. Then getting them tuned etc. But you wouldn't have to mess about with fuel systems... Engine conversions can be very expensive if you let them. I don't think carby would be any cheaper than EFI. Would sound really nice though. How are you raising the compression ratio? I didn't see that part anywhere..
  20. Cough *ceramic apex seals* Cough!!
  21. She'll buff out.
  22. W55 ftw.
  23. No I was being dead serious. I went W55 with my car and spent around that. Minus tailshaft. Wasn't being a smart arse haha.
  24. That's an accurate figure.
