  9. ahh, a man to my own heart droopys are the shit :y: dislaimer: at the risk of hijacking this into another "post pics of your droopy thread", which we have done before, i will refrain from providing phat pictures, but you can find them on my fotki if you look
  10. that would have been painful
  11. haha it's 90db @ 50M at grafton. pretty sure i would have creamed that one, and there were louder cars than me there
  12. wtf is with the bill gates photo at the top of this page? what is that like, sleazy 80s monochrome software porn or something? i feel violated :y:
  13. probably not. i would guess it'll just make it loud and (if anything) reduce backpressure, so you'll lose a crapload of torque, making your car slow, and gain probably 1hp @ 6000rpm give it a go and prove us wrong tho, flanges are cheap :y:
  14. there's a few publicas and te27s, even a ke20 in there too. the rx3s are just so tough
  15. 110S COSMO!!!
  16. or bag it :y:
  17. my other shirt options included a bumblebee yellow shirt with black tie, which looked awesome, but light colors and hot sweaty lismore days (and my drunken tendancy to spill food and alcohol all over myself) made that not such a good diea
  18. ahhh i was wondering why it was wide around the gearbox area. what's that going in?
  19. that gze 20v is phat, that was my idea :y: and the trd lexus is just horn what's the first one? like 2 v8s or something?
  20. if you're too dumb to spell tachometer, you're probably too dumb to fit one too auto elec time :P
  21. what the f@$k are you guys on? i can't follow either of these conversations anymore :y: it looks like you're all having fun tho, carry on :P
  22. you generally need to change to short strokes at lower than a 50mm drop if you were going to short-stroke a ke30, you'd change to corona coilovers on ae86 power steer arms and get some decent brakes while you were at it. little corolla struts and brakes aren't worth the cash. i think anyway. pajero master cylinder and 14" wheels required i don't know why you'd want to lower a 30 more than 2 inches anyway, i think they look silly scraping the ground, and the usefulness of the car becomes an issue, driveways and speedbumps and such. i enjoy being able to drive over gutters like i just don't care but yeah, like the others said, stock spring diameter is huge, so you'd open up next-to-no negative camber with adjustable tops. this is why i suggested changing to ke70 struts, smaller diameter spring rocks
  23. get yourself a copy of dyno2000 so you can play around with cam profiles (pm me if you'd like it), a 7k responds very differently to any of the other motors. get the head flowbenched to the parameters the program asks for if you want the results really accurate the valves are definitely a restriction on 7k engines. i would say you couldn't fit big enough valves in the head to open out the full potential of the 1800cc bottom end i hope you don't need new pistons, toyota prices are a rip off
  24. more torque. probably under 5nm more i suspect better head design, aren't 2Es 12v but 4Es are 16v?
  25. you people have totally lost me red and white it is
