  1. :D :angrybird:
  2. a job's a job, as long as you're in front, it's all good and if you don't like it, at least you can pay the bills while you look for something else :D
  3. oh cool another mexican :angrybird: i reckon we should organise a victoria cruise, i'm keen to put some kays on my panelvan :D
  4. i have stacks of old street machines. and zooms and hot 4s and fast fours from when they were still good. ask the guys who've been to my house, they're literally stacked against one wall of my loungeroom but i'm not in a hurry to get rid of them :D
  5. hehe, nice big garage you have there, lucky man :D ahh parts in boxes and a car half painted, that brings back memories where abouts are you? most of us noisy ones are around brisbane, but we've got regulars from all over the world! i'm down in nsw, just south of the gold coast
  6. good onya, no bludging :angrybird: :D now you're on your way to becoming a true aussie mate where at?
  7. build fook's for him :D
  8. stupid question. check toymods/twincam for sale section or the paper or magazines. prices change all the time, and it really depends what you're getting and where it's from i've heard of people picking up running fwd 16v engines for under a hundred bucks on forums, and people are also paying close to two grand for turbo'ed 20v front cuts from importers
  9. an auto parts shop autobarn, repco, etc or anywhere where you can trade your self respect in on LED washers and LED exhaust tips and LED valve caps
  10. nothing read the conversion page on the old faq http://www.superjamie.net/oldcorollas/
  11. meh. unobtainable the styling of the new bimmers is good tho. the new 3 series looks better than the old 5 series, and that's saying alot cos i LOVE 5ers
  12. no idea what model an 85 celica is, post a chassis code you'll need different steering arms, check the strut page over on toycrazy.net you'll also need to upgrade your brake booster, a pajero one bolts on, check fookstar.com for part number
  13. that's cool, we all had to start somewhere :D i'd suggest getting some decent shocks and springs and wheel alignment sorted out before you start messing around with swaybars. you're going to have to go short stroke shocks and coilovers with the corona struts, so get the leaves reset and put some matching shocks in the back, and get it on the track and actually see how it handles first corollas are pretty well balanced from factory, and it's very easy to turn any old toyota into an understeering or snap-oversteering pig with "she'll be right" massive sways. this is what half the celica idiots on toymods do, cos "mate, it cost 300 bucks so it must be good"! it really depends what you're going to do with the car, if it's just a hot streeter with a bit of weekend short course work like motorkhanas and hillclimbs, you'd probably want to leave it stock. if you're going for high speed track stuff like QR (which you probably aren't with a just a 4K) then i'd say uprated swaybars could be useful. if you're going to be doing offroad rally stuff, that's different again just a suggestion, and will save you a bit of cash at the start :angrybird: what color you want to paint it? what wheels and tyres?
  14. i am insulted that it would be implied that i am a hoon, i would never ever do such a thing as waste tyres and - oh hold on, yes i would :D
  15. or just do it before you paint the car
  16. 19. no neon/cathode install is cool if you can see the actual tubes. if you're going to rice your car, at least do it properly i do however think it's a good idea, i considered doing the same thing, but i'd hide the lights up under the dash or the seats or something, so the interior lights up but you can't see where from
  20. led globes are phat :P just so expensive :rocknroll:
  21. well i spent 5 and a half grand on my ke25, and if i sold it, i would have put 3500 on it and not accepted anything under 3 grand, and i would have got it
  22. well spotted teddy :P rollin imports on the gold coast was bringing them in a while back, they're in the white pages seriously tho, why would you even want a te27/37? you'd be paying like 10 grand (bought, shipped, complied, registered) for a 30+ yearold car that's so rare you wouldn't want to put kays on it, or drive at all for risk of something happening to it, never mind race the bloody thing. and at the end of the day, it's still just a corolla with a slightly bigger engine that's why i stuck with a ke25, at least when something happened to it, it's not like i'm destroying a piece of history. i can get finance to buy a te27, but owning a museum piece isn't for me right now, i want to actually be able to use my car
  23. DROOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! those wheels suit that shape so well
  24. i've never seen that one before. i don't think?
