WGMG in a funny way is forum confusion, I am a moderator of other sites and when I go onto a site and see something that needs moderating I go to do it and realise where I am, Gotta get used to this.

I used to give the S/C AW11 I had for work purposes a bit of a hiding and I could never get the ass to hang out, Not like most people say.

Have done celica GT4 boxes which are quite similar, You have to pull the box off the dowels and rotate it slightly and then pull it away, Diaphragm sounds like the alltrac controller, Not sure how to remove it, Where are you located?
Ok, Normally the seals break when the shafts are inserted but you did it the good way.
Yeah 30 mins if the shaft comes out from the box easy enough.

WGMG: QLD transport, I finally sold my DRI47 plates for a mere $250 and thought it was a simple change of ownership, Even tho the plates are brand new I have to pay $80 to transfer them, Fair enough if I had used them but FFS and the guy that owns them can't use them till they are transferred.
Have fun aligning the scissor gears back up on the cam shafts, Put bolts through the gear alignment holes before hand as it is easier, I still think you are going the long way about a diagnosis.
