Well you had no bright input as to why it was a stupid idea, You just wanted to make out I was making shit up to get my post count higher, The way I had always seen it is the engine flows X amount of CC's but put a turbo there and you can make X higher, People probably laughed at the guy that wanted to build the combustion engine too.

Well well, Today I spoke to a turbo specialist and put 2 turbo's together like I said above and asked what his opinion was because I was told that it was stupid, He told me that it is not a stupid idea but it will either not work or not be efficient due to not enough heat exchange so Ben stick your head in your ass.

  6. If you go custom lightened do not remove too much from the center, I have seen one let go, I posted pics on here somewhere, Just upgrade the factory clutch to a heavy duty clutch (exedy or NPC), Don't worry about a puck clutch.

    I hate how it gets thrown around too, My AE71 was ADM but I spent the time and money to convert the engine to a brand new JDM setup, It was the only thing I used as JDM but you see shitbox ADM sprinters with big wheels and a dodgy engine conversion and it's JDM.

  13. Have always thought about a system where there is 2 turbo's (1 big, 1 small) where the small one is bolted to the head and the compressor outlet feeds into the big turbos turbine and the big turbo's compressor feeds the intake.

  16. Ha, Work ute, When wasn't it flogged, I don't think I ever turned the A/C off either and it was only ever run on caltex standard unleaded as the fuel cards didn't allow premium.

  18. Maybe it was only a 3.0L, One of the guys at work told me it was a 3.5 when I asked what size the engine was, He had a 3.5 rodeo so he probably got confused, Went alright for a 3.0 then. I got 2200kg from the scales at incitec pivot, Remember my ute was a work vehicle so I had the XL toolbox on the back plus all my tools, Workshop issued tools, Spare parts and fluids.

Yeah I read that, I was giving a description which was bland, Maybe drop the water and put new stuff in and give it a good bleed, If the coolant temp sensor is reading cool then it will idle high (how long did you run it), To do a quick ecu reset disconnect the - lead from the battery and put it against the positive side of the battery then hook it back up.
  21. Apparently the 3.5L was a rare release, Probably why I can't find much on it, Mine had all the chrome trimming and nice steel wheels.

  23. For the length it has been sitting the exhaust would be full of water and condensating when it warms up or you have a BHG, Check the water level as it can make the idle high, Do you know how to reset the ecu? Try that and see how you go.
  24. Never got pics of the ute, It was great to drive, Heaps of torque and get up, It was a 2wd on a 4wd chassis and wheels, I will try to find some info and pm you a link.
  25. Don't quote me on this but I think there is a post on here somewhere about N12 pulsar/exa seats into an E7.
