    Had a thought the other day, Wasn't the holden plant based in SA around the same time and Toyota in NSW? So wouldn't it be a good counter measure for Toyota to send numerous cars to SA to compete with a manufacturer in the same state? Ha probably why there is so many commodores in woolongong :bash:

    Even then the pins are different. With the old ecu did it use to cold start at 2000?

    :bash: Well never heard of an ecu with different pinouts working, I am dumbfounded. The responsiveness you see is probably from the ecu being clear, Your old one probably had faults in it, look forward to the dyno.

    Not just toyota, almost all manufacturers did this.

    It won't start or it will run on 2 cylinders, Either way the ECU will most likely not like it.

    Never did, All sold in aus were twincam. Unless you are putting heaps of power into the car then I would just do an AE82 twincam brake upgrade.

    You can't, You have to make one :bash: I know I'm not meant to say this on here but the guy that asked if it was a GZE was driving a mirage with what he said was a quite a bit of money spent on it, Cam, Exhaust, Intake and some other sh1t, Reckons nothing has got him before.

    Have you got anything else connected to the gauge fuse?

    BF is Injector +B FPU is fuel pressure reg control. You really needed to get an 86 ecu.

    If you have lost spark and injector pulse then the ecu isn't receiving the signal from the dizzy, Check the wiring and make sure it is plugged in properly.

    Yeah still got it, I have to go get some stuff out of the car one day so I was looking at cutting it out.

    Depends how far back you port it, The smaller runners can speed up the velocity too.

    Simon are the 3k, 4k inlet manifolds the same OD as the bigports? Could always do a port match and hope that it does not affect it too much.
