Looking for pics for the donor thread so I thought I would add some to this thread. Auto is still going goo, If it breaks I will put a later AE82 auto in it with electronic O/D. MSD has been around a lot longer then the Crane (fireball etc), I think you will find they have stayed with the pill system as the dials would be prone to self adjustment under vibration, I myself know guys that are still running ancient MSD's on their cars, 10 years ago I was going to buy the crane fireball 6 to use on my HEI ignition on the commodore as it had good features but just left it standard. I'd say use the crane for your application.

All AE82's have 4 holes punched, SOHC use 3 bolt struts and DOHC use 4 bolt.
