  1. Ok, Might of been different on the torana light surrounds, He was told it can reflect the light into drivers eyes and shit like that.
  2. You can't actually see seat clearance via eye, It is found via vacuum down, Carbon can actually seal up gaps and ou have removed the valves so it would be best to lap them., It costs approx 20 bucks for the lap stick and paste.
  3. PM sent.
  4. All I can say is I hope you lap the valves in, Other then that good job and It is good to see a member pick up a manual and get in to do something like this :) BTW, Did you degrease the engine before taking the head off cause it is mightly clean.
  5. From what I have found (have not had the racks beside each other) power steer and manual steer are different lenght racks, I will confirm this properly one day.
  6. I was just replying to say this and had 2 windows opened and seen you had posted, Basically you need to do a voltage check from + battery to the oil pressure sender connection while the car is idling to see if it will provide enough voltage to open a relay, 15psi should be adequate, Some of the cars in the TA series run alarms at 20-25psi, Just hook it up how you have it and see how it goes.
  7. What turbo and are you willing to send it interstate?
  8. It's worse when you see your back guards get repaired and then go ahead and roll them like that. No one is to look at my rear guards on the red seca
  9. The 96kw ecu only works at 96kw when it is backed by the fuel it was tuned for which is not available to us here, You will need an aftermarket ecu for the mods you have listed anyway.
  10. When you pull the box out just check for back and forth movement on the input shaft, There will be sideways movement on the shaft.
  11. Looks good Chris, Might wanna throw a Q up on GMH about the light surrounds as I am pretty sure they need to be non reflective, Ricky went through something like this building one of his torana's, Good if you can keep them like that tho as it looks sweet.
  12. TRW automotive manufactured racks for toyota, Depending on where you buy rack ends from sometimes it is easier for you to give the company the dimensions and buy them that way, When I was at road and track we had several problems with toyota racks and supplied parts, I think we used celica rackends on an AE82.
  13. The noise you hear is from worn and grooved bearings, Pushing the clutch in loads the bearing and the pressure removes the noise, When the clutch is released the bearing has play and shifts around so you get the noise, Think of it as a wheel bearing that needs adjusting. Also the spigot bearing is there to remove sideways movement, It does not take a forward load.
  14. Throw out bearing will do that.
  15. Goodna car wash  Looks pretty nice, It looked more of a red in the commodore pics.
  16. That is a crazy ass video, Ballsy man
  17. Some ACL heat shield might give you a bit more time between coil changes  I think I have seen the camry around.
  18. Good looking setup, Do you ever get ignition breakdown from the exhaust being that close to the coils. Have not seen this around Ipswich as yet.
  19. Converting a KE10 auto to a manual, What do I need?
  20. Were you listening to the stereo while doing the carb?
  21. Cheap catchcan. BTW the black thing is a spray can lid.
  22. Hmmm so you have:  If there is something wrong with the contact strip let me know and I will send you one I have here, You just pay postage, The one I have is green 221.
  23. Not worth that, Hows 50 bucks? Your thread looks awesome, GL with sale  I think the main problem lies here: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showforum=33
