Wow, if your car can't even do 90km/h, that's pretty bad! Haikal's KE38 wagon with a pretty much stock 4K used to do about 120km/h or so with the 4 speed box without too many troubles. Now it has a 5 speed box, makes driving along the highway a lot nicer...

rjenman: That was exactly the same problem I had. Check all connections. On my car it was the plug under the steering column.

KE70 box and AE86 engine, no. There is a bellhousing that you can use to match them up, but it is rare, and there is no point because you will blow the box up in no time. As for the gearbox, besides AE86 there is AE71, but I'm not sure if you got those in Malaysia.

Mine had the same problem a week or two ago. Turns out because of my higher wattage bulbs I burnt out the contacts in the plug under the steering column. Rob: I believe you have higher wattage bulbs too. According to Banjo it's fairly common to burn out the contacts in the actual steering column switch too.

quality comes at a price... if you want something for cheaper, i guess get normal ke70 shocks, they'd be generally fairly soft.
