  1. Still no worky :)
  2. It will probably improve braking, but I doubt if it would be a huge difference. Didn't the AE82 twinky hatch come with 4 wheel discs? If so, that would probably be the first place to look.
  3. Dino rocks. If I didn't have Hal, I'd definately buy Dino... I've already almost bought it once (even had the money ready! But then Evan got to it before me...), wouldn't be too hard to buy it again :)
  4. Jason: Give ABC wreckers at Oxley a call. I was there the other day, they were selling those radiators brand new, can't remember how much it was but remember thinking it was quite cheap.
  5. 20V 4AGE upgrades are very popular (like, anyone who puts another engine in one uses them) in Malaysia for FWD Corollas. I hear it's a pretty easy swap.
  6. For people who don't read the title, this is booked to be run on the 11th of June.
  7. Haha, I'm an idiot. Added to original post. Time is usually I from 8am - 4.30pm or something along those lines.
  8. These courses are really good, and very good value for money. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the limits of themselves and their car.
  9. Hahahaa... Darn, you beat me to it...
  10. Both the Datto1200 and the Datto1600 for sale here currently are tarmac cars. The Datto1600 was set up by Ken Graham (of Accurate Suspensions, who currently owns that very very phat yellow Datto1600)
  11. Umm, I *think* logbooks show when you have a prang.
  12. It's all the little things that make it expensive. If I were to just list down the bulk of the things in my car, it'd be under $10K too. But add on all the little silly things and I'm pushing $15K...
  13. Yes, but you'd get so much more if you bought a pre-built car for the same money...
  14. It's Dino... :) Used to belong to Mel. Someone please buy this car, it is the coolest Datto in the world...
  15. Anyone wondering what this is, it's a touring road event. Basically like a tarmac rally, except more emphasis on navigation (but there are also fun speed events) This event is one of the two "big" touring road events run in the SEQ area, the other being the Queensland Challenge which is run at the end of July. Coastal Challenge (referred to now as CC for short) is a good lead up to this. CC this year (as with most other years) runs around Nambour, Gympie, Imbil and Caloundra, and is run in conjunction with the ARC (Australian Rally Championship). In fact, you even get to run some of the ARC special stages, I believe this year there will be two - one at Imbil and one at Caloundra (Caloundra Capers Super Special at Kings Beach!!!). In addition to those 2, there are 4 other special stages, two in a carpark (motorkhana?), one I think on a skidpan at Gympie, and the other somewhere else. Both crew members will need a CAMS 2NS licence, which is cheap, and just involves filling in a form (no tests or anything), so is piss easy to get. You'll need 2kg of fire extinguishers, safety triangles and a first aid kit, as well as CAMS approved helmets (motorcycle is fine) for both crew members. This year it costs $132 per crew, and there is an information night on the 25th May at BSCC. Entries open today, and close on the 27th of May. There is a Show and Shine to display cars for the event (I'm thinking of doing this perhaps, who's in? Rollaclub Represent, yo!) on this saturday at Fulcrum Capalaba, Neumann Road. Classes this year have changed (SUCK), they are now: Class 1 - Pre 1974 Class 2 - 1975-1989 Class 3 - Post 1989 Class 4 - AWD/4WD Hope to see yas all there!
  16. I still like looking at blondies :)
  17. Redheads eh? I'll keep that in mind :) How come there aren't any redheads to vote for then?
  18. Of course, this is only going from what I've been told, I wouldn't know, really...
  19. On a budget, buy pre-built. Building a car equates to a lot of money (that you don't get back when you sell the car)
  20. But blondes are more fun
  21. Argh so hard :)
  22. Coastal Challenge 2005 sup regs and entry forms are up. Go to http://www.bscc.asn.au/ for more :)
  23. Wooden wheels, how to smoke? :D
  24. Cool... We want aircond in Haikal's car too :D
  25. Norbie can drift anything. Norbie is doriftor king. No argument. Don't think I'll ever forget following him up through Nebo, Glorious and through the ranges, me in my GSR and him in his STOCK AUTO MK2 Supra...
